I never write reviews but this was actually crazy. I got delivery, My choco lava cake had hair baked into it....so I discovered that when it was in my mouth. and then I found out my pizza also had hair in it too, and a piece of thread just baked into it. What the hell is going on in this establishment. Scarred me I'm never ordering from here again. Couldn't report it to dominos bc i missed the 16 hour window.

My most recent experience was disappointing. I don’t live far from this location and went in to pick up my pizza during the scheduled pickup window. When I arrived, my order hadn’t even been started yet, and several other customers were experiencing the same delay (May 1, 2026). I spoke with a staff member, who I believe was the manager, Ethan. I explained that when I got home, the pizza was undercooked and doughy in several areas—even though I had selected “well done” in the app. Some of the center twists were also doughy, and the dipping sauce provided was not good and ended up being thrown away. I had to finish cooking the pizza in my own oven, which defeats the purpose of ordering takeout. There were enough staff present, so it was frustrating that the food wasn’t even started in time for my pickup window, especially since I still ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes in the store. Ethan acknowledged the issue and told me I would receive a refund, which I appreciated and accepted instead of store credit. I was even prepared to share photos showing how undercooked the pizza was. However, it has now been over a week, and I still have not received the refund. Overall, this experience was very frustrating. I ordered food because I didn’t feel like cooking, but I ended up having to cook it anyway. I also paid a delivery fee and tip in the past when using this location, so this experience felt especially disappointing, Cause they charge too much just to deliver around the corner delivery fee plus tip was like $10 so to save a little money I decided to just walk up there and pick it up. I thought I was just gonna be in and out, what a day! I’ve generally had better experiences here before, especially with delivery, but this visit did not meet expectations.

Love me some dominos. The pizza is always piping hot when I pick it up and their chicken nuggets are crispy and flavorful. The garlic twists are yum too, I’ve had them a few times and they are addictive. This review is for pick up however, and not delivery. I’ve had absolutely awful experience when ordering from dominos for delivery, when I was living downtown - it would be a hit or miss. If I was lucky (which was rare), it would be on time. But most times it was 40 mins to an hour late. Hence I docked 2 stars (just the memory of it traumatizes me - imagine starving and waiting longingly for that pizza to arrive). And judging from the other reviews, I guess the delivery here is no different from the one in downtown. So now I don’t take my chances, I just go pick it up since it’s close by. WILL DOMINOS EVER CHECK THESE REVIEWS AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR DELIVERY?? COZ THEY ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS THIS WAY!!!

Ordered 2 pizzas this evening for delivery. Order arrived 2 hours late. We received only 1 pizza and it was very cold. Called resturant multiple times & was left on hold for 30 minutes. No one ever picked up the phone.

Ordered two pizzas for my students online at 7am for 12pm same day delivery. At 12:20 no pizzas. Called the store, waited on hold for 15 minutes. The excuse was only one driver. Ask to speak to a manager to lodge a complaint. Put on hold for 20 + minutes before hanging up. At 1:00 pm the pizzas have still no arrived. Will this change things at Dominos at 1229 n Clybourn in Chicago? Probably not, but I will change and not order from Dominos again. Domino’s sucks!
