SacMom Two a month agoI called this location before I placed my order. Just because I know when substituting it can get very weird. So I dont eat beef nor pork. But I LOVE chicken phillies when done right! The lady i spoke with told me that it didn't allow me to change it online to call them as soon as I place the order and they would fix it. So I did as she said and now all of a sudden they cant substitute. WAIT A MIN so you mean to tell me steak is less then CHICKEN?? After a lil back and forth and them telling me they would have yo cancel my WHOLE order because they couldnt just take the sandwich off. The end result was me asking for a full refund! Super crazy! You let a 70.order go off of 5 cent worth of I dont know what meat this is anyway! Don't worry I will never order from there again! I hate when staff and management are not on the same page! Horrible
BellaGlam TV 12 months agoThe manager and the workers that answer the phone are ALWAYS rude and unprofessional. They continuously make order incorrectly…. they hang up on people. Like the lack of home training and mannerisms is honestly baffling. I wish they’d fire everyone and hire new staff at this point. Hate that I have to deal with nasty attitude every time I order and THEY get the darn order WRONG PER USUAL. EW. Like why is my pizza 50% CRUST?! ALSO i ordered it well done… MY CRUST IS SOFT AND MY CHEESE IS NOT ORANGE, ITS JUST BARELY MELTED.
BGH 11 months agoWOW! The pizza? Absolute worst experience I have ever had ordering a simple one topping pizza. I have never been to a Dominos before moving to Hyde Park (or any pizza chain) and had so many badly made, mediocre pizzas. I have never returned a pizza in my life, I am not hard to please. The customer service? Unprofessional and aggressive when you initiate a return or when the quality is questioned. They threaten. They yell. They are combative. They argued when I brought the pizza, insisting they always make dark, nearly burnt pizzas (I should have pictured it). And yet, as the picture below shows, they also undercook it. Does that look dark? They cook with inconsistent temperatures and times and refused to make it any other way. Instead of a new pizza, I asked for a refund after the manager threatened to make me trouble myself to call corporate for the refund when I said the last pizza I brought looked like the image below. I have been here three times and each experience is as follows. Here’s a summary of the end result: 1) First time, the pizza was undercooked and mushy. 2) Second time, the pizza had little to no cheese or sauce. 3) Third (and final) time, the pizza was burned and overcooked. It's disappointing to experience issues with pizza when I went my entire life never having issues with popular chain pizza places, until I moved to Hyde Park. Below is an example of their craftsmanship. The best you can expect is the standard of mediocrity. The worst, is something like what you see below. With each bite you take, you get to experience raw dough. ***I encourage all with bad experiences to call corporate and hold this staff accountable. Customers should do more to help future customers. The best reviews are from more than one year ago. Some of the worst reviews are from the last year.***
Tiffany Bumpers 5 months agoI’m leaving this review less about the pizza and more about the customer service — or lack thereof. I ordered a pizza from the Hyde Park, Chicago Domino’s yesterday. The pizza was noticeably overcooked and poorly made. It was meant as a small reward for my daughter after she earned all As on her report card. The next day, I noticed she had barely eaten it, and after looking more closely, nearly 80% of the pizza was uneaten because it simply wasn’t good. Around 1:00 PM, I called the store to explain the issue and offered to bring the pizza back in exchange for a replacement. I was told that “all pizzas are made the same” and that nothing could be done. When I asked if a manager could help, I was told the person I was speaking with was the manager. When I politely asked for their name, I was told, “I don’t have to give you my name,” and the tone of the call became hostile. At that point, I ended the conversation and was told to contact Domino’s directly. Unfortunately, filing a complaint through dominos.com was also a frustrating and unnecessarily difficult process, which only added to the disappointment. To be clear, this isn’t about the price of the pizza — it was inexpensive. It’s about the lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service. What should have been a simple and respectful interaction turned into an unpleasant experience. I’ve had better experiences with Domino’s in the past, which makes this especially disappointing. I hope this location and the company take customer feedback more seriously going forward.
Naiya Rutledge 3 months agoI just recently placed an online order here and unfortunately had a bad customer service experience. After picking up my pizza and getting home I realized I did not receive the drink I ordered with my food. I called the store to simply ask for a refund when I was cut off by the person who answered to ask me if I asked for the sprite. I admitted I forgot to ask but asked him if they are not responsible for double checking the order. He then said no it’s your job to ask for the drink. The whole situation was not a big deal to me but to be talked to disrespectfully and dismissively was.
